If you believe that you have a Bed Bug infestation, the first action you should take is identification.  The difference could cost hundreds of dollars.  Bed Bugs hide in every tiny crack imaginable in a structure near where an animal or human sleeps.  They hide in mattresses, box springs, bed frames, behind trim boards, in dressers, cell phones, furniture and hollow doors just to name a few places.   It is important to begin elimination immediately.  Bed Bugs treatments are not cheap nor are they fast and easy.  The average cost is $200.00 to $300.00 per room and may take as long as 3 to 6 months to verify complete elimination.  Your life will be turned upside down for a while as you launder every linen, clothing item and drapery in hot water and dry in hot heat and place them in sealed plastic bags until the Bed Bugs are eradicated.  The alternative is living with them.
